Built in 1894 and designed by local architect George Clemence, the Upsala Street School stands at 36 Upsala Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, as a notable example of Romanesque Revival architecture. The structure was enlarged twice over its history and represents a strong local interpretation of the style popular for institutional buildings of its era. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the building has since been adaptively reused as senior living apartments.
