The Utsjoki rectory, built in 1843 in the remote northern Finnish municipality of Utsjoki, is an Empire-style clergy house designed by the renowned architect Carl Ludvig Engel. Now a protected building in Finland's Built Heritage Register, it represents the formal ecclesiastical architecture of the nineteenth-century expansion into Lapland, where such structures served as both administrative centers and residences for the clergy overseeing the region's pastoral communities.
