Vesper Cliff, a Greek Revival residence outside Owego in Tioga County, New York, blends architectural periods spanning more than four decades. The oldest portion dates to 1791, but the house achieved its distinctive character with a monumental temple-fronted addition designed by Alexander Jackson Davis in 1834, executed in "plank" construction. The property also featured an unusual barn with a neoclassical facade, along with a chicken coop and ice house, though the barn has since collapsed. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, the house is known by several names, including Tioga Terrace, Glenbetsy, and the Robert C. John House.
