Western View is a historic home near Fork Union in Fluvanna County, Virginia, that combines two distinct building phases spanning the early nineteenth century. The original frame section, built around 1790, is a one-and-a-half-story, two-bay rectangular structure topped with a slate-covered gable roof. A brick wing with Greek Revival attributes was added in 1824, extending the house with a one-over-one fenestration pattern. The property also preserves an outdoor kitchen with its original chimney and the Henley/Johnson family cemetery. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, Western View exemplifies the domestic architecture of rural Virginia's transitional period between Federal and Greek Revival aesthetics.
