Villa Contarini, a Baroque-style patrician rural palace in Piazzola sul Brenta in the province of Padova, Veneto, was designed by Andrea Palladio. The expansive complex sprawls across 40 hectares and incorporates canals and a lake as integral landscape features. Now owned and administered by the regional government of Veneto through the Fondazione G. E. Ghirardi, the villa and its gardens are open to the public for tours and serve as a venue for sponsored cultural events.
