Villa Caldogno, a Palladian villa in the Veneto region near Vicenza, was built for the aristocratic Caldogno family on their estate in the village of Caldogno. Attributed to Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, the villa exemplifies the Palladian architectural style that defined the era. The property later became known as Villa Nordera after Dr. Ettore Nordera's ownership through much of the twentieth century. Today it functions as both a religious museum and palazzo museum, operated as a museum of public entity, and forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site while maintaining status as Italian national heritage.
