Located in Luvigliano, a frazione of Torreglia in the province of Padova, the Villa dei Vescovi is a Renaissance palatial residence begun around 1500 by architect Andrea da Valle. Originally constructed as a summer retreat for the archbishops of Padua, the villa exemplifies Renaissance rural architecture with its frescoed interior rooms. Now designated a national monument of Italy and managed by the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI), the villa and its grounds remain open to the public.
