The Visvesvaraya Centre, a government office complex in Bengaluru designed by architect Charles Correa in the brutalist style, occupies the former site of Sir M. Visvesvaraya's residence. Originally built for the Life Insurance Corporation, the structure was subsequently acquired by the state government to serve as office space, and the complex takes its name from the notable figure whose home once stood there.
