The Vitra Fire Station, completed in 1993 in Weil am Rhein, Germany, was the first constructed project by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid. Built as part of the Vitra Furniture factory complex, this 852-square-meter structure of concrete and steel exemplifies deconstructivism, with its angular, fragmented forms that challenge conventional architectural geometry and function.
