Wall House II, a postmodern single-family residence completed in 2001 in Groningen, Netherlands, represents one of architect John Hejduk's rare realized designs. Originally conceived for Connecticut but abandoned due to cost, the house was eventually built by Dutch developer Wilma based on Hejduk's plans and subsequent revisions. Its defining feature is a monumental central wall housing four organically formed rooms and a narrow corridor, creating a composition that blends Cubist painting, Surrealist sculpture, and architectural form into a strikingly unconventional domestic space.
