The Ware–Lyndon House, located at 211 Hoyt Street in Athens, Georgia, is a two-story Italianate residence built circa 1850. Originally owned by Edward R. Ware, the property passed to Edward S. Lyndon in 1880, from whom it takes its hyphenated name. The city of Athens acquired the house in 1939 and undertook a major restoration in 1960. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it stands as the sole surviving structure from the Lickskillet neighborhood, once among Athens's most prestigious districts.
