Watertown Masonic Temple, a three-story Neoclassical building erected in 1914 in Jefferson County, New York, was originally constructed as a meeting hall for a local Masonic lodge. Its prominent facade features six Doric columns supporting a triangular pediment in the classical temple-front style, while the structure itself employs masonry and steel construction. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the building was offered for sale in 2003 as membership declined and maintenance costs mounted. In 2017, the temple became part of a broader revitalization effort when a plan to convert it into a performing arts center received backing through a ten million dollar New York State Empire State Development Corporation grant.
