The Welsh Presbyterian Church stands on Princes Road in Liverpool's Toxteth district, a Grade II listed Gothic Revival structure designed by architects W. & G. Audsley and completed in 1867. Originally serving the Presbyterian Church of Wales, the building is distinguished by its tall steeple, which earned it the local nicknames "Welsh Cathedral" and "Toxteth Cathedral"—informal designations reflecting its commanding presence rather than any ecclesiastical status. The church is now disused and has remained abandoned for an extended period.
