Located at 87 Post Road East in Westport, Connecticut, the Westport Bank and Trust Company is a two-story Classical Revival brick building completed in 1924 by local architect Charles E. Cutler. Founded in 1852 by prominent businessman Horace Staples, the bank became a longtime fixture in the local economy. The building is distinguished both by its neoclassical design and by a series of murals in its lobby commissioned in the 1960s and executed by Robert L. Lambdin, an artist known for his Depression-era works funded by the Works Progress Administration. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
