Wilanów Palace is a Baroque royal residence in the Wilanów district of Warsaw, built between 1677 and 1696 for King John III Sobieski according to designs by architect Augustyn Wincenty Locci. One of Poland's most remarkable examples of Baroque architecture, the palace survived the World Wars and stands as one of the country's most important monuments. Its museum, established in 1805, preserves Poland's royal and artistic heritage and draws approximately three million visitors annually, ranking among the world's most visited palaces. The palace and surrounding park serve as venues for cultural events and concerts, including Summer Royal Concerts in the Rose Garden and the International Summer Early Music Academy. Designated a national Historic Monument in 1994 as part of Warsaw's Old Town ensemble, Wilanów has been a member of the Association of the Royal Residences of Europe since 2006.
