Located in Brevard, North Carolina, the William Breese, Jr. House is a two-story Classical Revival frame dwelling built around 1902 and distinguished by its pebbledash finish and hipped roof. The residence features a prominent two-story Ionic order entrance portico at its center and incorporates a two-story rear ell. Originally designed as a private home, the building was converted to an inn and restaurant around 1955, with modifications that included the removal of an interior wall to create a meeting room and the enlargement of doorways. Despite these changes and the addition of acoustical ceiling materials, the structure retains much of its original character and remains a notable example of turn-of-the-century architecture in the region. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, it stands in the East Main Street Historic District as an exemplar of how pebbledash was employed locally to execute Neoclassical Revival design.
