Built in 1891 in Glens Falls, New York, the William McEchron House is a 2½-story residence that synthesizes Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival design through an asymmetrical composition of stone and frame construction. Its most distinctive features include a first story of rock-faced, random ashlar sandstone, paired stone arches framing the entrance, and a massive stone arch spanning the porte cochere. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
