The House at 54 Spring Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is a well-preserved Queen Anne Victorian residence built around 1889–90, notable for its meticulous shingle detailing. The 2½-story structure adopts an L-shaped plan with a wraparound porch extending across the front and right side into the angle of the L. Characteristic features include shed-roofed window hoods trimmed with cut shingles and decorative shingle bands that accent the gables on the north side. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, the house exemplifies the ornamental craftsmanship typical of late-19th-century American Queen Anne design.
