The House at 556 Lowell Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is a 2½-story wood-frame Queen Anne Victorian built in 1894, probably for Denis Lyons, a Boston wine merchant. Located in the town's Montrose section, the high-style residence features asymmetrical massing with a prominent three-story turret topped by an eight-sided dome roof on its left elevation and a partially wraparound single-story porch on the right, crowned with a small gable over the front stairs. Both the lower and second-story porches display ornamental Stick style woodwork, while the main front gable and turret incorporate Colonial Revival detailing. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
