The William Richardson House, located in Union Springs in Cayuga County, New York, is a remarkably intact farmhouse built around 1830 in the late Federal and early Greek Revival style. The main structure is a two-story, three-bay brick dwelling with a one-and-a-half-story side ell and rear wing, complemented by four barns dating to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries on the property. According to village records, William Richardson emigrated from Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1791 and married Elizabeth Thompson, whose father Thomas Thompson hailed from Juniata in western Pennsylvania; Richardson died in nearby Levanna in 1823. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
