Willow City School, located at 2501 Ranch to Market Road 1323 in Gillespie County, Texas, is a two-story granite structure built in 1905 in the Colonial Revival style. The school was erected on land donated by J.W. Lindeman and J.C. Hardin, replacing a two-story frame house that had succeeded an original one-room log cabin destroyed by flood in 1890. Originally without water supply until 1920, the building served as an active schoolhouse until 1957, when it was consolidated with Fredericksburg Independent School District in 1961. Today it functions as a community center and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 6, 2005.
