The Wilmersdorf sewage pumping station, built in Berlin's Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district in 1906, was a Brick Gothic waterworks designed by architect Kurt Ackermann. Rising 13 meters, the structure employed clinker brick and plasterwork to achieve its distinctive style, reflecting the period's approach to functional infrastructure as an opportunity for architectural expression. Recognized as both a cultural and architectural heritage monument in Berlin, the station exemplified early twentieth-century German industrial design before its demolition in 1999.
