Wing Hall is a neoclassical building on the campus of Cornell University, constructed between 1912 and 1914 by the Buffalo architectural firm Green & Wicks, led by Cornell alumnus E.B. Green. A three-story structure, it features a centered main entrance with a projecting central bay and a distinctive two-story Ionic-columned portico topped by pilastered bays on the third story. Built as part of a New York State appropriation that also funded Fernow and Caldwell halls, Wing Hall was designed to teach animal husbandry with an innovative combination of practical laboratory spaces, a specialized library housing herd and flock records of different breeds, and an auditorium large enough to accommodate live animals for instruction. Located roughly half a mile east of the original college buildings near university barns, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
