In the Reinickendorf district of Berlin, a residential complex designed by Erwin Anton Gutkind in 1931 exemplifies the New Objectivity style. Spanning multiple addresses across Emmentaler Straße, Residenzstraße, and Thurgauer Straße, the group of houses represents a unified architectural conception of the Weimar era. Designated as a Gesamtanlage (complete ensemble) and recognized as a cultural heritage site, the complex reflects the modernist principles and rational design philosophy that characterized early twentieth-century German residential architecture.
