The Woman's Progressive Club stands at the southwest corner of Rowena Street and Merriman Avenue in Wynne, Arkansas, a single-story brick structure built in 1935 with funding from the Works Progress Administration. Designed in Colonial Revival style, it features a distinctive gable-on-hip roof and represents a relatively ornate expression of the period. The interior is dominated by an auditorium with stage, designed to serve the club's needs as a venue for public, private, and civic events. Founded in 1913, the Woman's Progressive Club was Cross County's oldest social organization at the time of the building's construction, and the hall has long functioned as the city's finest performance space. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
