Located at 402 East Merriman Street in Wynne, Arkansas, this single-story Art Deco post office was built in 1936 at a federal cost of $65,000. Constructed of brick with a flat roof concealed behind a built-up parapet, the structure features a rear addition. The building is chiefly renowned for its lobby mural, *Cotton Pickers*, commissioned through the United States Treasury Department's Section of Art—a Depression-era program supporting artists—and created by Ethel Magafan. The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
