Located in Clyde, New York, this 1940–1941 post office exemplifies the Colonial Revival style favored by the federal government during the New Deal era. Designed by Louis A. Simon of the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, the structure is a one-and-a-half-story steel-framed building clad in brick and set upon a raised foundation with limestone trim. The interior is distinguished by a 1941 mural titled *Apple Pickers* by artist Thomas Donnelly. One of many post offices Simon designed across New York State, it was recognized as a historic place when listed on the National Register in 1988.
