Located in Canton, New York, this Colonial Revival post office was designed by Louis A. Simon of the Treasury Department's Office of the Supervising Architect and constructed in 1936–37. The one-story structure features a distinctive trapezoidal footprint with a steel frame clad in red brick across nine bays, crowned by a multi-tiered cupola atop its low hip roof. The interior houses a relief sculpture created in 1939 by sculptor Berta Margoulies. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
