Wooldridge Park, a neoclassical urban square in downtown Austin, Texas, was designed by architect Charles Henry Page. The park occupies a full city block and features a distinctive natural basin whose sloping sides create an amphitheater formation, with a bandstand positioned at its center. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the park's ingenious topography transforms the sunken landscape into a versatile gathering space.
