The Westgate Tower is a 26-story mixed-use skyscraper in downtown Austin, Texas, designed by Edward Durell Stone and completed in 1966. Rising 261 feet, the mid-century modern tower takes its name from its proximity to the west gate of the Texas State Capitol. Stone's design exemplifies the architectural vocabulary of the era, and the building's significance was recognized when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010 and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 2012.
