The O. T. Bassett Tower is a 15-story Art Deco skyscraper completed in 1930 at 303 Texas Avenue in Downtown El Paso, Texas. Designed by the architectural firm Trost & Trost and built by Charles N. Bassett in honor of his father, the tower stands 217 feet tall with setbacks at the tenth and thirteenth floors. Its tan brick facade is enriched with stone and terra cotta ornament, including a notable sculpted face above the main entrance believed to represent architect Henry Trost himself. Though briefly the city's tallest building upon completion, it was superseded the same year by the Hilton Hotel. The tower was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
