The Wright Brothers National Memorial Visitor Center, completed in 1960 in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, is a modernist structure designed by architects Ehrman Mitchell and Romaldo Giurgola. Constructed of concrete, glass, and steel and rising 12.2 meters, the building exemplifies mid-century modern design principles. The center functions as both a National Park Service visitor facility and a passport cancellation location for the National Parks system. Designated a contributing property to the National Register of Historic Places and a National Historic Landmark, it serves as the primary interpretive building for the memorial commemorating the Wright brothers' pioneering aviation achievements at nearby Kill Devil Hills.
