Located in Newark, Delaware, the Wright House is a 2½-story brick dwelling erected in 1922 and designed in the Colonial Revival style. Its E-shaped footprint features a distinctive five-bay front facade anchored by a three-bay main portico with fluted Corinthian columns and a frame porte cochere. After 1950, the University of Delaware acquired the property, and it has since served as the residence of the university president. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
