Wrotham Park is a neo-Palladian country house in South Mimms, Hertfordshire, designed by Isaac Ware in 1754 for Admiral John Byng, fourth son of Admiral George Byng, 1st Viscount Torrington. Located 12.2 miles north of central London and south of Potters Bar, it remains one of the largest private houses near London within the M25 motorway and continues to be held by the Byng family as the centerpiece of a 2,500-acre estate. The house's distinctive exterior has made it a sought-after filming location, used in over 60 productions. Both the Grade II* listed building and its Grade II listed landscaped park and gardens are recognized on England's heritage registers.
