The Y-Block was a Brutalist building in Oslo's Government Quarter, designed by architect Erling Viksjø and completed in 1970. Its most distinctive features were two murals by Pablo Picasso, making it one of only a handful of sites worldwide bearing Picasso's mural work. Damaged during the 2011 Norway attacks, the building became the subject of heated public debate before its demolition in 2020, though the Picasso murals were carefully removed and are planned for incorporation into a replacement structure.
