Built in 1904, the Zoar Norwegian Lutheran Church is a modest wood-frame structure in rural northeastern Day County, South Dakota, distinguished by its Gothic Revival styling and bell tower crowned with a flared-roof steeple. Situated on a rise south of County Road 4 northeast of Pickerel Lake, it stands as one of the region's few surviving period country churches and is notable as a marker of Norwegian-American settlement in an area predominantly inhabited by Polish immigrants. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
