Located at 11 East Forsyth Street in downtown Jacksonville, this historic skyscraper exemplifies the Chicago School architectural style. Originally developed by Stephen Andrew Lynch and designed by architect Francis Palmer Smith, the building—also known as the Lynch Building and later the American Heritage Life Building—was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 23, 2003. In the early 2000s, Vestcor undertook an extensive restoration of the building's exterior and converted its former office spaces into loft apartments, which residents began occupying in 2003.
