Rising 225 metres in the heart of the City of London, 122 Leadenhall Street is a high-tech skyscraper that opened in July 2014. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the building's distinctive wedge-shaped form earned it the informal nickname "the Cheesegrater." Located adjacent to Richard Rogers's earlier Lloyd's Building, this tower replaced a 1960s structure and represents a significant development project that was interrupted by the 2008 financial crisis before being revived in 2010 through a partnership between Oxford Properties and British Land.
