The Adolphus Hotel is a Beaux-Arts skyscraper completed in 1912 in Downtown Dallas's Main Street District, designed by the architectural firm Barnett, Haynes & Barnett. Established as an upscale hotel, it stood for several years as the tallest building in Texas, a testament to the ambitions of early-twentieth-century Dallas. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, the building remains a significant example of Beaux-Arts commercial architecture in the state. Today it operates as part of Marriott's Autograph Collection.
