Aghperig Monastery is a medieval Armenian monastic complex in the Sasun Mountains of eastern Turkey, built around 300 AD above a natural spring from which it derives its name, Sourp Aghperig (Holy Spring). Located 56 kilometres west of Lake Van in the Sason district of Bitlis province, the monastery remained in use until the Armenian genocide after 1915, when it subsequently fell into ruins. Also known as Beyaz Kilise, the complex exemplifies Armenian architectural traditions of its era.
