Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, has been the home of the Los Angeles Angels since its opening in 1966, following the team's relocation from Los Angeles after the 1965 season. Designed by Populous, the ballpark was constructed beginning in 1964 and is the fourth-oldest active Major League Baseball stadium, behind only Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Dodger Stadium. Known colloquially as "The Big A," the stadium also hosted the Los Angeles Rams of the NFL from 1980 to 1994. Beyond baseball, Angel Stadium has hosted the MLB All-Star Game three times (1967, 1989, 2010) and the 2002 World Series, along with major concerts, the AMA Supercross Championship since 1976, religious events including Billy Graham crusades, and various college and high school sporting events.
