The Ashby Apartments, a Mission Revival–style residential building erected in Salt Lake City between 1925 and 1926, was originally built for the Bowers Investment Company. The structure passed to the Eflow Investment Company in 1926 and subsequently came under the ownership and management of Ralph A. Badger from 1936 to 1963, a prominent local figure who controlled five apartment buildings in the city and served as president of the Apartment House Association of Utah. Known also as the Gooch Apartments and Suzanne Apartments, the building was recognized for its historic significance when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in November 2006.
