This Salt Lake City complex comprises two Mission Revival–style residential buildings erected in the late 1920s and 1930s. The Benworth-Chapman Apartments was constructed in 1927 by George Bowles & Sons and initially housed its builder alongside tenants; it passed through several owners, including Benjamin L. Farnsworth and Zions Bank, before Clarissa G. Chapman acquired and renamed it in 1937. Chapman Cottages, completed between 1937 and 1940, complemented the original structure. The ensemble was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
