The Nave Apartments, located on the 600 block of 8th Street in Lewiston, Idaho, is a three-story apartment building constructed in 1913 by architect James H. Nave, who also served as the building's namesake. The structure exemplifies Swiss Chalet Revival styling, a design choice possibly influenced by prominent Spokane architect K.K. Cutter. Built of dark brown sandstone quarried from Nave's own Swallow's Nest quarry, combined with brick, the 80-by-120-foot building showcases the architect's resourcefulness and distinctive aesthetic vision. Also historically known as the Wilson Apartments, the building was recognized for its architectural significance when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
