Michigan-Lee Apartments is a three-story brick apartment building completed in 1928 at 940–950 Michigan Avenue in Evanston, Illinois. Designed by architect Frank W. Cauley in the Georgian Revival style, the building exemplifies early twentieth-century residential architecture through its formal classical details: columned entrances, limestone quoins, and a decorative parapet adorned with urns. A distinctive sunken courtyard occupies the building's center—an unusual design choice for Evanston, where courtyards were otherwise common in apartment complexes. Cauley, who also designed the city's Orrington Hotel, brought similar architectural ambition to this residential project. The building was recognized with a listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
