Oakton Gables is a three-story brick apartment building completed in 1927 at the southeast corner of Oakton Street and Ridge Avenue in Evanston, Illinois, designed by architect Godfrey E. Larson. Rendered in Tudor Revival style, the building features limestone trim and window hoods, a raised central courtyard, and projecting gables above the roofline, some adorned with half-timbering. Copper is deployed distinctively throughout—in towers flanking the courtyard entrance and in downspouts and flashing—lending the structure a refined period character. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
