The Assut de l'Or Bridge is a white single-pylon cable-stayed bridge completed in December 2008 as part of Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences. Designed by Valencian architect and civil engineer Santiago Calatrava, who also called it the Serreria Bridge, the structure rises 125 meters and exemplifies Calatrava's signature approach to contemporary bridge design. The bridge's name refers to a nearby dam, with "l'Assut de l'Or" meaning "the Dam of the Gold" in Valencian.
