Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1954, the Bachman–Wilson House was originally built in Millstone, New Jersey, for Abraham Wilson and his first wife, Gloria Bachman. The commission arose through a family connection: Marvin Bachman, Gloria's brother, had studied under Wright at his Taliesin West school in Arizona. In 2014, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas acquired the residence and relocated it entirely to the museum's campus, preserving this example of Wright's domestic architecture for a new generation.
