Banfi Manor stands on a hilltop in the village of Banfi near Štrigova in Croatia's Međimurje county. Built in the 18th century atop the ruins of an earlier castle—itself erected by the noble Bánffy family around 1373—the manor is a single-storey structure arranged in an L-shaped plan with restrained neoclassical character marked by regularly spaced windows and an arcaded entrance beneath its west wing. Over centuries it passed through the hands of several aristocratic families, including the Feštetić and Franetović, before coming into the ownership of the Žižek family, local entrepreneurs. In recent years the building has undergone extensive restoration.
