The Bank Melli Iran (University of Tehran Branch) is a three-storey rectangular building in central Tehran, located on Enghelab Street near the university district. Designed by renowned Danish architect Jørn Utzon—best known for the Sydney Opera House—and completed in 1962, the structure exemplifies the modernist aesthetic of Iran's Pahlavi era. Constructed with prestressed and reinforced concrete, stone, and concrete, the building represents an important example of international modernism's influence on Iranian institutional architecture during the mid-twentieth century.
